🌸 1. Reading Outside Like a Victorian Heroine
There’s something magical about taking a book outdoors, sitting under a tree or in a cozy café garden, and getting lost in a story. I like to pretend I’m in a period drama, dramatically flipping pages while the wind plays with my hair. Bonus points if I can find a scenic spot with cherry blossoms for full aesthetic value.
🎾 2. Tennis Season is in Full Swing
Spring means the clay court season is here! Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome—tennis fans know these are not just cities but battlegrounds for epic matches. I love watching the drama unfold (and maybe creating a little extra drama about it on my blog). Plus, if the weather allows, I might even pick up a racket myself and pretend I have half the talent of my faves.
🌿 3. Spring Walks & People-Watching
Nothing beats wandering through a park or a bustling street, soaking in the sights and sounds of spring. Whether it’s spotting flowers in bloom or eavesdropping on the world’s most chaotic conversations at a café, people-watching in spring is top-tier entertainment.
☕ 4. Seasonal Drinks (Because We Love a Theme)
Spring means swapping out the deep, comforting flavours of winter for something fresh. Lavender lattes, strawberry matcha, or just a classic iced coffee—spring drinks hit different when the sun is shining.
🎭 5. Planning (and Probably Not Finishing) New Creative Projects
Something about spring makes me think I’m going to be super productive. Whether it’s brainstorming fanfiction, outlining a novel, or starting a new hobby, the creative energy is high. Will I finish everything I start? Unlikely. Will I get really excited about it for at least two weeks? Absolutely.
🌧️ 6. Enjoying the Chaos of Unpredictable Weather
One minute it’s sunny, the next it’s hailing—spring weather keeps you on your toes. I love the unexpected drama of it all, as long as I’m not caught in the middle of a downpour without an umbrella (which happens more often than I’d like to admit).
Spring is all about fresh starts, longer days, and small joys that make life brighter. What are your favourite things to do in the spring? Drop them in the comments—I’m always looking for new ways to romanticize the season!
